Six piece Aussie Funk 'n Roots band The NEO are in the midst of another big year, starting with a huge East Coast tour, including the Woodford Festival through to the Adelaide Fringe Festival in March. During the tour, The NEO launched their latest EP and animated music video ‘Stay Alive’. The NEO achieved Triple J airplay with their last release ‘Bus Blues’ and have appeared on RAGE and Channel V.

Their high-energy performances, infusions of funk, reggae, rock, blues, folk, ska and groove, are mixed like a Mojito with intoxicating lyrics, overtones of flirtatious flute, commanding harmonica melodies and a pumping horn section.

In 2007 The NEO set the stage alight at the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival, Byron Bay and in 2008 The NEO gave four super-charged performances at the Woodford Folk Festival in Queensland. They are getting audiences up and dancing everywhere.

NEO have toured widely, completing a European tour, 6 national tours and have appeared at 4 consecutive Adelaide Fringe Festivals, 2 Adelaide Fuse Festivals and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
